Kim Fitzgerald

Passion for DanceFounder/Director

Born in the wonderful Liberties, Dublin. Kim started learning Ballet, Tap and Drama just 4 years old. At the age of 10 years she joined the Liberties Drama Group where she studied Tap, Modern, Drama and Music and went on to celebrate a Mini Tops win with them in 1999.

During this time she danced many ensemble dancing and singing roles in their Olympia Theatre productions Annie, Grease and many more..

It was around this time when Kim discovered her passion for Ballroom and Latin American dancing and spent the next 7 years competing in Ireland and England, and winning the coveted all Ireland title 2 years in a row.

It was at the tender age of 17 years Kim discovered her passion for teaching whilst helping the younger children in school and has been teaching and performing Hip Hop, Ballroom/Latin and Commercial dance ever since.

Kim established Kinetix Dance School in 2011 and has had students go on to study full time Dance in the UK and Europe. The school caters for students age 3 and upwards and the school currently looks after over 200 students.

Kim has recently qualified as a cheerleading coach with BGU and looks forward to the very exciting edition of Kinetix Bow Squad to the school.

Kinetix Dance School offers exam standard and competition classes and the school continues to have great success and results in both fields as well as simply helping those with a love of dance.
